Jim Schnell is a partner in the Mengel, Metzger, Barr & Co. LLP Tax Department.
Professional Experience
With previous experience at both national and regional firms, Jim brings over twelve years of experience of tax specialization to Mengel, Metzger, Barr & Co. LLP including business and tax planning strategies, IT consulting, and non-profit taxation compliance. A Certified Valuation Analyst, Jim also performs business valuation and related services for a variety of purposes.

Professional and Community Affiliations
A dedicated professional and community member, Jim is a current board member and past president of the National Kidney Foundation of Upstate New York; a committee member for the organization’s Finance & Long Range Strategic planning; and the current committee chair for the Kidney Car Program. Jim is also a committee member of the National Kidney Foundation’s Finance Committee based in
New York City.
In addition, Jim serves as a board member for the Turnaround Management Association of Upstate New York, and he is a member of the St. Louis Parish Council and Church Endowment/ Planned Giving Committee. |
