Firm Position
Judy is partner-in-charge of the Audit and Accounting Division of Mengel, Metzger, Barr & Co. LLP and is based in the Elmira office.
Professional Experience
Judy applies her more than 20 years of experience to the vital work
of providing industry auditing services for client financial institutions, not-for-profit organizations, manufacturing firms, distribution companies and real estate partnerships. Licensed to practice in New York, Colorado and Ohio, Judy was admitted to the firm's partnership in 1990.

Bachelor of Science Degree - Muskingum College, New Concord, Ohio
Professional and Community Affiliations
Judy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of CPAs and an active participant in various community and civic circles. Judy is currently the Immediate Past Chair of the Chemung County Chamber of Commerce as well as the previous Treasurer. Recently she joined the Board of Directors of The Community Foundation of the Elmira-Corning Area, Inc. and serves on its Executive Committee. She also serves on the Elmira Senior Center Board and participates on the Board of Directors of Creative Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc. Judy was previously Chairman of the Board and Treasurer of the Chemung/Schuyler Chapter of the American Red Cross and was Treasurer of the Board of Directors of UCP and Handicapped Children’s Association of Chemung County. Judy has also served on the United Way of the Southern Tier, Chemung Division Leadership Committee and is an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Horseheads Session and Finance Committees. |
