Don is partner in the Elmira office of Mengel, Metzger, Barr & Co. LLP, specializing in audit and corporate tax.

Donald has been a member of the accounting community for more than 27 years, working closely with a range of clients in construction, manufacturing and the wholesale trades.

Professional and Community Affiliations
Don is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Don is active in the community serving as a Board Member for St. Joseph’s Health System; and as a current Board Member, and committee member to the Executive, Finance, and Pension Oversight and Audit Committee of St. Joseph’s Hospital. He serves as a Board Member and Assistant Treasurer to the Southern Tier Economic Growth, Inc.; and as a Board Member and Executive Committee Member of the Five Rivers Council Boy Scouts. Additionally, he is a current Board Member and Treasurer for the Chemung County Industrial Development Agency, and a member of the Board of Directors for Bethany Village. Don also holds the position of Chair of the Finance Committee for the Elmira Country Club and Board and Finance Committee Member for Chemung County History Museum. |
