Firm Position Gary is a  partner in the firm's Elmira, NY office.  Throughout a 23-year career with Mengel, Metzger, Barr & Co. LLP, Gary Riopko has provided accounting, tax planning, financial planning, and preparation services for a variety of client corporations, partnerships, proprietorships and individuals.    Professional Experience Gary specializes in representing medical and dental practices and construction companies.        Education Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting - University of Notre Dame   Professional and Community Affiliations Gary's professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, as well as Board Member and President of the New York State Society of CPA - Finger Lakes Chapter. Gary is Treasurer for the LPGA Corning Classic, Inc. and a Board Member and Treasurer for the Elmira - Corning All Sports Committee, Inc.  In addition, he is a Town Councilman for the Town of Horseheads, NY, and Treasurer and Past President of the regional area club for the University of Notre Dame Alumni Association.
